Robust Shaft Connection The 8mm Rigid Metal Flange Coupler is the perfect hardware solution for securely attaching wheels, gears, or custom flat mechanisms to an 8mm rotating shaft. Unlike flexible couplings, this rigid hub ensures zero backlash and maintains a perfectly perpendicular 90-degree angle between the shaft and the mounted component.

Precise Dimensions Designed for exact fitment, this coupler is machined with precision. The inner bore diameter (d) is exactly 8mm to match standard NEMA stepper motors and DC gear motors. The total height of the coupler (H) is 13mm. This total height is made up of a 3mm thick flat flange base (h2) and a 10mm high central boss (h1). The flange provides a wide surface area with an overall outer diameter (D) of 32mm.

Secure Mounting and Integration To prevent the hub from slipping under high torque, the 16mm diameter central boss (d1) is drilled and tapped with M4 threads (d3). Two black set screws are included to firmly lock the coupler against the flat edge of a D-shaft or bite into a round shaft. For mounting your wheel or plate, the flat flange features four mounting holes (d2) sized at 4mm (compatible with M3 hardware). These mounting holes are spaced apart with a diagonal pitch (L) of 24mm.
